Contra Costa Ballet's condensed one-hour version of "The Nutcracker" is a sweet treat even the youngest in your family will enjoy. Filled with fanciful sets and costumes and performed by the company's talented young dancers, the timeless story follows young Clara and her nutcracker-turned-prince on an exciting adventure. Their magical journey takes them past dancing giant mice and toy soldiers to reach the delicious Kingdom of Candy. Now in its 25th year, this production at Lesher Center for the Arts has become a much-beloved Bay Area tradition.
