About "The Mystery of Edwin Drood"
Tony-Winning Musical Whodunnit: "The Mystery of Edwin Drood"
Winner of five Tony Awards (including Best Musical), this wildly delightful play, based on Charles Dickens' unfinished final novel, whisks you away to London's Victorian-era Music Hall Royale, where preparations are under way for a local troupe's production of "The Mystery of Edwin Drood". The story itself deals with a Jekyll-and-Hyde choirmaster who's madly in love with his beautiful music student. She, however, is engaged to the choirmaster's nephew, the young Edwin Drood. After Drood goes missing one stormy night, everyone is a suspect in his demise. It's up to the audience to choose the ending, selecting who solves the case, who committed the crime and even who falls in love. Catch this fun show in Lafayette at Town Hall Theatre.Comments
