Mark Hummel's Big Blues Blowout

Harp Blower/vocalist Mark Hummel's had a banner 2014 leading into this year
with a Grammy nomination, two Blues Music Awards plus two more noms for this
year for both Harp & best Trad Blues CD for "The Hustle Is Really On" which
features all the players here. Mark's book Big Road Blues-12 Bars On I-80 is
still being talked about.
Guitarist Little Charlie Baty has been busy both recording his own jazz CD,
a new Golden State/ Lone Star Revue CD( with Hummel & Anson Funderburgh) and
touring with GS/LS Revue & the Blues Harp Blowout in Jan. 2015.
Guitarist & piano man Bob Welsh is currently playing in Elvin Bishop's band
plus other projects such as Rusty Zinn's band & Hummel's last Blowout tour.
Drummer June Core spends much of the year with Charlie Musselwhite after
playing in the Nightcats, the Blues Survivors & Robert Jr. Lockwood's bands.
Bassist RW Grigsby is the constant with Hummel on all his gigs & has played
with Carlene Carter, Mike Morgan & the Crawl, Gary Primich & Johnny Sansone.
