About Josh Kornbluth's "Haiku Tunnel"

Temp Worker Suspects His New Boss Is Satan in One-Man Comedy "Haiku Tunnel"

And you thought your boss was the devil! On assignment at a downtown law firm, Josh -- a terrific temp but terrible "perm" -- finds himself working for a powerful tax attorney whom he starts to suspect is actually Satan. But when the firm makes him an offer he can't refuse, Josh begins a stint as a permanent secretary, starting a hilarious chain of events that include a panicked late-night break-in, a surprise encounter with a beautiful young associate and a passive-aggressive case of mistaken identity. Writer-performer Josh Kornbluth has been staging his series of autobiographical one-man shows since 1987. Among his most popular is this neurotic office comedy, which was recently adapted into a feature film by Sony Pictures Classics after long runs in the Bay Area. See it live at the Marsh Berkeley Arts Center.
