Meet HYIM, an Oakland California kid in his soul and a San Francisco native at heart, world traveler and admired internationally touring performer and recording artist, pop world fusion music composer, a gifted healer, and a licensed therapist. HYIM has performed to crowds of tens of thousands at large music festivals in the US and internationally. He performs solo and with his band, from big events to small groups of teens in a juvenile hall.
HYIM has been invited to perform internationally as an American Rock Star, had the honor of being a California Music Awards Nominee, an Oakland Indie Awards Nominee, and a 2 time KFOG Radio Local Scene Artist. “...and that talented HYIM, spreading his positive music...may you be well and successful!! L'Hyim!!” KFOG Radio. His passionate piano playing and live performance has earned the respect of the music community and his song-writing was honored when he won a Hollywood Indie Showcase.

When performing solo, he loops beats live with percussion and drums while playing guitar and keyboard and singing his songs. HYIM inspires the spirit and lifts the heart. He calms the soul with music and words, and simply with his presence. As a DJ or with his band he is definitely a good time at a party big or small. A lot of people talk about changing the world, but HYIM does it with more than just words and music. HYIM has been working with youth for many years, be it on the street with the homeless or now as a licensed therapist leading groups for youth in addiction recovery.
