"Harlem Nights": An Elegant Nightclub Night for a Good Cause

"Harlem Nights", an elegant evening with a speakeasy atmosphere, takes over the Imagine Affairs Art Lounge in Oakland. You've seen the film starring Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor, now it's time to relive the actual experience of being in a 1930's nightclub like the Cotton Club. You'll be amazed by the sights and sounds of the Roaring '20s and '30s -- and just to keep things interesting, there will be some reminders of the funky disco era of the '70s and '80s as well. There will also be casino-style games like craps, blackjack and roulette, plus a live DJ, hors d'oeuvres, food and drinks. Plus, the proceeds help to benefit the Monarch Lodge #73 scholarship fund.
