Kayleen and Doug meet as 8-year-olds and bond over their shared propensity for injuries both internal and external. As seen in a series of nonlinear vignettes, the duo's friendship endures through the years, as they nurse both broken hearts and broken bones, and explore friendship, love and the great in-between. Playwright Rajiv Joseph was a Pulitzer Prize finalist for Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, which enjoyed a critically-acclaimed run on Broadway.
