"Fifth of July": Funny & Poignant Post-Vietnam Drama

Set in 1977 on the "Fifth of July", Ken Talley has retreated to his family's Missouri homestead confused about his future after losing his legs in the Vietnam War. As he contemplates selling the farmhouse, family members and old friends from his radical UC Berkeley days descend for a vacation, helping Ken decide the Talley legacy as well as his own. Berkeley's Aurora Theatre Company continues Lanford Wilson's "The Talley Trilogy" with "Fifth of July", a heartwarming yet hilarious portrait of the Woodstock generation at the precise moment they realize the fireworks ended yesterday.
