Juneteenth Dance Celebration: "Fallen Heroes, Rising Stars"

For the sixth year in a row, Grown Women Dance mixes music, movement and history to create an engaging tribute to some of the African-American entertainers and activists we've lost in the 21st century. The experienced cast features former soloists from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Martha Graham Company, Bill T. Jones and over 20 Broadway shows, who'll salute artists like Lena Horne, Maya Angelou, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Nina Simone and many more.
