About East Bay Soul Music Fest

Fantasia, Lyfe Jennings & Vivian Green at the East Bay Soul Music Fest

Everyone knows that the East Bay overflows with soul. Celebrate that musical heritage during the East Bay Soul Music Fest featuring music from Fantasia, Lyfe Jennings and Vivian Green. They'll be joined by H-Town, Chubb Rock, Force MD's and SWAY when it all goes down on a beautiful fall day at Pioneer Amphitheater located on the CSU East Bay campus in Hayward. Fantasia rose to fame as a winner on "American Idol" and has since won a Grammy and starred as Celie in "The Color Purple" on Broadway. R&B singer-songwriter and reality show star Lyfe Jennings is known for the hits "Must Be Nice" and "Gold," and Vivian Green wrote a hit for Boyz II Men, sang backup for Jill Scott and has released her own solo albums inspired by classic soul. The outdoor festival will also feature a host of food vendors selling delicious bites.
