The Desi Comedy Festival is an annual comedy festival featuring the funniest South Asian comedians. Led by Abhay Nadkarni (SLO Comedy Festival) and Samson Koletkar -- who bills himself as "the world's only Indian Jewish stand-up comedian" -- the Desi Comedy Fest brings together more than a dozen of the most hilarious comedians with South Asian and Indian heritage at Oakland's The Washington Inn. They'll bring their original perspectives to bear in skewering American culture, plus their own, for a jam-packed night of laughter. Also appearing are Kabir "Kabeezy" Singh (Comedy Central), Dhaya Lakshminarayanan (Comedy Central Hong Kong), Hark Dulai (Comedy Time TV), Priya Prasad (Boston and L.A. Comedy Festivals), Raj Dutta (Cobbs Comedy Club) and Sanjay Manaktala (Chuckle Festival 2015).
