We all like to think we have life sorted out, but that fantasy is seldom true. In this funny and reflective solo show, Lisa Rothman riffs on the reality of living in the modern world. With two young children and two dogs at home, Lisa and her husband Kevin argue over everything from finances to sippy cups. Then on a rare date night, Sophie the rescue dog overdoses and Kevin bristles at the thought of a bankruptcy-inducing veterinarian bill. Profound and built for laughs, Lisa's "Date Night at Pet Emergency" plays at the Marsh in Berkeley after a run at the San Francisco Fringe Festival.
