D-Mac, Pok' Chop, and Special Surprise Guest!

At only the age of 19, up-and-coming rap artist, Pok' Chop, is something to look out for as we enter a new year.
This Bay Area native began rapping at the young age of 12 and has been doing his best to climb his way to the top ever since.
Like most young artists, his biggest insperation is his mother, "I really look up to my mom, I get my attitude about life from her".
Although his mother is one of his biggest inspirations, he looks to new Pop artist, Wiz Khalifa, as more of an iconic figure, "I think
that the way he has gotten famous sort of mirrors the path that I'm taking, such as his internet promotion and viral videos".
Pok' Chop has come a long way from his early days as a rapper, and against all odds he's kept his head up and pushed
through all personal problems and some of the harsh criticism of the music industry to get to where he is now. "If the industry
doesn't wanna let you in, then go hard and kick the doors down." He now has a wide variety of fans and followers
through social networking, ranging from ages 12 to 45. He's performed at shows with artists such as Bay Area's, Roach Gigz and
main stream artists Bobby Brackins and YG. It's safe to say this isn't the last we'll be seeing of this new artist, we'll just have
to wait and see what else he has coming up for us in 2012.
