About Berkeley Chamber Performances Presents ZOFO Piano Duet

Berkeley Chamber Performances Presents ZOFO Piano Duet

When 20 fingers start flying across a single keyboard, the margin for error becomes piano-wire thin, making for an off-the-charts exciting live concert experience. And there's no piano duet performing four-hand style today with as much speed, dexterity and musical skill as ZOFO. Twice Grammy nominated, Keisuke Nakagoshi and Eva-Maria Zimmermann became joined at the hip professionally in 2009, and have since distinguished themselves not only for their joyful playing, but also for their innovative repertoire, which focuses on 20th and 21st-century contemporary classical pieces as well as special commissions. In fact, they just released a 2015 disc of their work with composer Terry Riley, and are set to open this Berkeley Chamber Performances concert at the City Club with his piece "G-Song". You're also invited to a wine-and-cheese reception after the show.
