About "Bell, Book and Candle"

Bewitching Romantic Comedy "Bell, Book and Candle"

A playful, romantic winter romp set during the Christmas season, "Bell, Book & Candle" is a famed '50s-era comedy that partly inspired the TV series "Bewitched". Gillian, a free-spirited white witch, lives in Greenwich Village. Unlucky in love and unsettled in life, she discovers her handsome neighbor Shep's going to marry an old rival of hers. Gillian casts a love spell on him to thwart her enemy, but when she starts to fall for him herself, she faces a tough choice, as witches who choose love are doomed to lose their magical powers permanently.
